JOB DESCRIPTION
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
Responsibility:
The Customer Service Representative works under the direction of the CEO. This employee will also work under the direction of the Operations and Office Managers. This is an in-person position only.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associate degree in related field or experience equivalent.
- Have and maintain an Arizona or New Mexico driver’s license.
- Reside in DVEC service territory or be willing and able to relocate to service territory within a month’s time from date of hire.
- Training, education, or work experience in one or more of the following:
- energy related industry
- business administration
- information technology
- basic legal or paralegal
- accounting
Job Description:
This employee will accomplish a variety of tasks as assigned by the supervisor or other members of the cooperative management team dependent on experience and learning capabilities.
The primary work may include the following listed categories:
Administrative:
- Customer service includes answering the telephone; routing calls to appropriate personnel; taking messages, etc.
- Receipt and process of member payments
- Counter Service including payment processing, faxes, copies and notary
- Member assistance with applications and service requests
- Prepares and files compliance reports required by state regulatory commissions.
- Prepares and files rate and financing applications to state regulatory commissions.
- Processes members' applications for Renewable Energy Programs.
- Prepares annual renewals for Liability/Property Insurance.
- Works with lenders to arrange financing.
- Maintains system of records storage and retention.
Communications/Technology/Electrical Systems:
- Telephone system.
- Computer hardware, software, and infrastructure.
- Meter reading system.
- Cooperative owned renewable energy systems.
- Internet connections, Email, and Webpage hosting, design, and maintenance.
