Steve began working for the co-op in 1995, starting as an accountant. From 1999 until 2014, he supervised the front office crew and was in charge of the co-op's financial reporting, member services, and information technology. As CEO, Steve interfaces with the Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Co-op. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and NRECA's Management Internship Program. Steve also serves on GCSECA's Legislative and Government Relations Committee.
Mike was hired in 1987 as a lineman's apprentice and now directs the Line Crew in construction, maintenance and service of the electric distribution system. Mike attended college at New Mexico State University and Western New Mexico University. Mike also completed the electric trade program at Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute. In 1994 Mike completed the Merchant Power Line Training course to become DVEC's first Journeyman Lineman to complete a nationally recognized certification program. Mike has also completed NRECA's Supervisor's Program. Mike serves on GCSECA's Safety and Loss Control committee.
Joining the DVEC's workforce in 2004, Kim oversees the work in Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, and Member Services. She also works with the board of directors for scheduling, keeping minutes, and maintaining the policies adopted by the board. Kim has an accounting degree from Western New Mexico University. Kim serves as the local coordinator for GCSECA's Washington Youth Tour program and assists the Judy White Memorial Scholarship committee. Kim also serves on GCSECA's Education & Professional Development committee.
